Oops!!

I've reallllly neglected you all this week!! :( Sooo Sorry!!

I was so good last week - posting every day, but this week I've dropped the ball & I don't see that changing until next week.

Jm and I are headed to Lewisville tomorrow after work to visit his parents, it's been entirely too long and Shelby and Molly CAN'T wait to go on a road trip!

On Saturday I'm meeting Melissa in Dallas to order our Bridesmaid dresses for Rachel wedding in July!

The new job is going GREAT! I'm learning new things everyday & I really enjoy the people I work for and with.

We've had lots of lookers at our house in Granbury and 1 offer, but we declined it because they wanted to lease it out until their house sells in Houston. That makes us nervous because what if their house in Houston never sales and the guy moves back to Houston and leaves us with our house....again. AND we don't want buy anything here until our house there SALES, not leases. We're all praying that his house sales quickly, so he can buy our house ASAP!

That's all that going around in my neck of the woods - a lot of the same, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

GREAT NEWS!!!

Little Miss Kraylee Kate got some GREAT news yesterday at Cooks! The doctors said that Kraylee's case was milder (is that a word?) than what they originally thought. AND that she was wayyyyy too beautiful for SURGERY! (haha - isn't that the TRUTH!) So she goes back in 4 months to make sure nothing drastic has changed! ISN'T THAT GREAT!!

The power of prayer is AMAZING isn't it?!? God is GOOD! :)

My new favorite night is MONDAY!!!

Why? you wonder....

2 words - 11 letters - 1 wonderfully addicting TV show:

THE BACHELOR!

The show, thus far, has been pretty good! I still reallllly like Jake (although, I've read that he's only 5'8...WEIRD! He looks so tall on TV!)

But no one can deny that he is a cutie.....

Cuter than THIS guy? No, absolutely not. But cute, nonetheless!

I don't have anyone that I'm just DYING to win yet (like last season with MELISSA!!!) but I do like Ali and Tenley.

I read Reality Steve (he has a website...just google "Reality Steve") and he claims to already know who wins: and if he's right....you just aren't going to be believe it! And THAT'S all I'll say about THAT! If you want to read the spoilers then head that direction! (or you can check out Fans of Reality TV, aka The Fort - again, just google it - and find out that way too!)

Another GREAT bachelor blog is I Hate Green Beans, SERIOUSLY if you watch the show - READ THIS BLOG, it's ABSOLUTELY hilarious!!!!

This is Jake with the girl that I picked strictly from their pictures prior to episode one, and that I blogged about here. Ashleigh is her name, and she's ok. I didn't like the stunt she pulled last week with the bikini and the pool, but I still think shes cute.

I can't STAND Elizabeth. The whole - "Don't kiss me, respect my values" thing - then the whole "Aren't you DYING to kiss me?!" OMG - GAG. Yes, she is REALLY pretty, but don't try to be someone you aren't.

I'm excited to see how this week plays out! :)

Prayers Needed!!

Please keep Macey's (one of my best friends) daughter, Kraylee, in your prayers this week. She has an appointment in the morning (Monday the 18th) at Cooks Children's hospital with 2 of the best Doctors in the world to talk about surgery. Little Miss Kraylee has craniosynostois, which is whenever cranium plates fuse together prematurely, and in Kraylee's case - she has more than one plate fused together. The good news is that at Cooks - Kraylee will be in the best hands in the world. (Don't quote me on any of this - I could have some details wrong, but this is what I know now.)

She is one of the cutest little girls everrrrr!!! I love this picture of her because you can see her newborn picture by her foot. She has grown so much in the past year and a half! Kraylee and her beautiful momma Macey! She is such a wonderful mother - and I can't even imagine what she is going through right now. Please keep Macey in your prayers too - she'll need Gods love, support, and comfort just as much as Kraylee will during these next few weeks. and since this is my blog and all - I had to post a picture of me with this little princess!!! I just love this little girl!!!!!

I'll keep you all updated as I hear what the Doctors say tomorrow.

New Job, New Job, New Job!!!! :)

Last Friday I interviewed for a job as a Optician at Clarke EyeCare Center here in Wichita Falls - I thought it was a long shot because I have zero eye-ish experience, I don't even wear contacts or glasses myself! But, I wanted a job that I could be proud of and make into my career, and I found the perfect one! They called me on Monday and said that I got the job and I started Tuesday morning. I absolutely LOVE everything about it!! I'm so excited and happy!! (and Jm is just THRILLED that I'm working again!! haha!!) We carry very very very cute glasses and sunglasses - I can't wait to get my first pair. I'm hoping to eventually get enough pairs to match all of my outfits! :)

Here I am Tuesday morning before I left the house for my 1st day of work!

It's nice to be back in the swing of things, I'm really missing the 4th hour of the Today Show...but I think I'll be able to survive without Kathie Lee and Hoda. :)

P.S. Several of you have asked about the blog books that my parents had made for me for my birthday....click HERE to be redirected to the site that they used!

Emotional Weekend...

This past weekend, Jm and I made the quick trip to Granbury to check on our house. I had no idea that I would be as emotional as I was. Once we got there, it felt like we still lived there because all of our furniture and TVs and decorations still fill the house. I walked right inside and set my purse where I always set it and took my jewelry off and put it where I always put it - as if I've been there all my life. Then it hit me - this house will not be my house much longer. I just cried and cried and cried because we have so many wonderful memories there and nothing will ever be the same again. I am 100% sure that the move to Wichita Falls was the right move for us - but it's still hard to let go of our first house. Jm was sweet and let me cry my eyes out while reminding me that we have bigger and better things ahead of us. By the next morning I was MUCH better. I got up and I was ready to LEAVE and MOVE on!!! I got ALLLL of my crying done, and I was happy to get back to Wichita Falls.
Hopefully the next time we make the trip - it won't hit me like that again. I hope the next time I cry over a house - it will be because we found the PERFECT one in Wichita!! :)
Nothing was missing out of our house...but we did have a shrub gone! Notice the red shrubs infront of that window? There used to be 3 of them.....someone dug a hole and removed the middle one! ha! WEIRD!!! Atleast they left the other shrubs and didn't steal anything out of the backyard!!

The next morning....by our for sale sign - thumbs up because I'm A-OK with selling our first house.... come on people - let's get some offers up in here!

Cooooooold Football Game!

A few weeks ago my mom, dad, Jm, and I all went and watched the High School State 2A Football game. We didn't know anyone playing, but Jm and I went to Holliday High School and they are 2A, so it's fun to keep up with class 2A sports. (If you're not from Texas - I'm sure you have NO idea what 2A is - schools are ranked based on size, the smaller schools are 1A and it goes up to 5A - I graduated with 75 students in my class and we were only 2A, 5A schools can have like 600 students per grade, etc...)
I was determined to get some pictures - but no one would corporate so all I got was pictures of myself! ha! Here I am upside down before we left! Tricky huh?!

Me and my Shelby!! I love this baby girl so much!!!
On the way to the game! SOMEONE didn't want his picture taken!!!
The game was FREEZING and it was a BLOWOUT! so we left just after half time. But it was still fun to watch - High school football games are so fun to me, I love watching the cheerleaders and listening to the band, and getting yummy snacks from the concession stand of course!!
On the way home after the game - I think my face was FROZEN this way!
