Today is JM's 26th Birthday!! He is one of the most selfless, caring, and thoughtful people that I have ever met in my life. I'm beyond blessed to call him my husband!!!!
We had a WONDERFUL weekend full of celebrations!
After I left school on Friday afternoon, we drove down to Fort Worth to spend some time with our good friends Sam and Christina. They were married this past summer, and we haven't seen them since then!! It was WAYYY to long to go without seeing each other!!!
We met at their (ADORABLE) apartment, and I changed out of my "school clothes." Then we headed downtown for some yummy food, and even better company! :)
We had to wait 45 minutes for a table at Mi Cocina, but it was well worth it!
After we ate up all of our delish Mexican food, we headed to Pete's Piano Bar for some even more fun!
The Strains.
When we were ready to head back to their apartment, we got a little confused in the parking garage! We accidentally went up a wrong elevator, and we could see Christina's Lexus, but we couldn't get to it! {Yes, homegirl has a LEXUS! It's SO nice!!!} We finally just took turns hopping over that fence! HA! By this point we'd pretty much decided that the Kardashians have nothing on us, we think that we could put out a reality show equally as entertaining!
The next morning we headed to Dallas to spend the day and night with JM's parents. We got there just in time to enjoy a wonderful lunch and an equally wonderful nap!
We went to dinner Saturday night with JM's parents and grandparents. I'm so sick that I didn't snap a single picture, but I think I was too busy laughing and sucking the heads off crawfish! Yes. That. Happened.
It was a really great birthday weekend had by all, especially for the birthday boy!!!!!!
JM just called and he has landed safe and sound back in Pittsburgh. Only 3 weeks until we're reunited again! Whoo Hoo!
